Dear Divers,

We've finally reached the end of the season. Tioman has closed for the year and only a few more weeks before Aur closes as well. We're watching carefully for the weather, but it looks like we might have until the end of November to go diving.

Considering that many of you, our faithful readers, are clamoring for some diving trips other than the normal Aur or Tioman (hardship dives), we've come up with a list of activities for the off-season here. Read on to find out about them.

In the meantime, we're still taking bookings for until the end of the month for trips to Aur, so let us know soon if you need that one last nitrogen fix before the season closes.

Last call for Aur 16-18 and 23-25 November!

Last call for that nitrogen fix. Aur will be opened until the 23-25 weekend of November. Considering the monsoon is starting late this year, season might only open in late April next year, so book your space for one last trip to Diver's Lodge.

Come join the AOW divers over in Aur during this coming weekend before the season closes onboard MV Quest. Enjoy the comfort of sleeping all the way to Aur instead of having to travel the land based route. Limited spaces left, call today for yours.

LivingSeas Monsoon activities

DECEMBER

8th of December
We'll be organizing a trip out to the Queenstown 4 metre deep diving pool and getting some twin tanks. Those of you who've always wanted to try twin tanks are welcome to come. There'll be a twin tank workshop conducted that day for all those new to twins.

10th to 15th of December
LivingSeas has planned a trip to Manado, to revisit the Tasik Ria resort. Those of you who were on our Chinese New Year 07 trip should remember how much fun that was. Spaces are limited and the resort is filling fast, let us know as soon as you can book your tickets.

22nd of December
Once again, we're planning to go to Queenstown pool with our twin tanks. This time, there'll be a buoyancy and propulsion clinic conducted, so if you've always been interested in how us GUE divers do the backwards kick and maintain our trim, come along to find out how!

JANUARY

1st to 5th January 2008
A new destination for us, a fantastic location with many good reviews. White sandy beaches, perfect diving sites. Come join us celebrate the new year diving the beautiful Boracay, Philippines.

January is Phuket Liveaboard month. We have close ties with the White Manta and Black Manta, and if you're planning to visit Phuket or dive the Similans, let us know.

2nd to 8th of January
Get aboard the White Manta to the Similans for $1200.

The Black Manta this time, for $1360 only.

15th to 20th of January
A White Manta trip for $1200.

Learn DIR diving techniques with a LivingSeas Open Water or Advanced Course

Want to learn the best practices in diving today? Why wait to find out through trial and error on your own? Learn if from the first moment on, our Open Water Diver Course is taught with an emphasis on good buoyancy, trim and propulsion techniques, with a good dose of team diving to boot.

Seen people diving with a backplate? Always wanted to find out what that's all about? Come do the LivingSeas Advanced course and find out. All our Advanced classes are taught with the Halcyon MC System and Scubapro Jetfins. We also let you learn how to use the Halcyon Surface Marker Buoy as part of the course as well.

Last month was "happening month" for GUE courses and events.
