LivingSeas Twin Tank Workshop
Is twin-tank diving meant for technical diving only? NO! We say.
Twin tank workshop focuses on an introduction to the usage of twin tanks in recreational diving. Conducted over a pool session, you will be briefed on the usage of the valves, the implications of failure in relation to twin tanks, and valve drills.
After the briefing, you will get to try diving with them in the pool and practice the valve drills with them.
What you will get out of the workshop
- An introduction to the concept of diving with twin tanks
- Implications of diving with twins in recreational dive-planning
- Twin tank valve drills
Diving Certification Pre-requisites
- GUE Fundamentals certified OR Advanced Diver equivalent from any recreational diving training agencies (e.g. PADI, SSI, NAUI, etc) with proof of at least 60 dives.
- Trained in long hose usage.
Equipment required for the workshop
- Back inflation style buoyancy control device with 40" lift wing
- DIN Regulator system with the following attributes:
- Two 1st stages each supplying a single second-stage. One of the second-stages must be on a 7-foot/2-meter hose. One of the first-stages must supply a pressure gauge.
